Environmental Responsibility – Recycling
Hadera Paper, via its subsidiary Amnir Recycling, is the biggest recycling entity in Israel of wastepaper, cardboard, newspaper and plastic waste.
Every year, the company collects and handles 400,000 metric tons of raw materials that are transferred to the recycling industry.
With the goal of maximizing nationwide waste collection, the company invests resources in development and production of unique waste bins for collection, compression and compaction of materials, in addition to effective transportation from the clients to the recycling production sits.
As part of its corporate social responsibility activity, the company is involved in implementation of environmental protection values and recycling practices in the general public, and specifically among pupils, soldiers, and students.
Amnir Recycling Company has 3 standards certifications: ISO 14001 for environmental management; ISO 9001-2000 for service quality control and management; as well as Israeli Standard SI 18001 for Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSAS).
